Our experience was 130%. We had a tour with Alex, it was just us two with him. It was a wonderful private experience. Alex was very knowledgeable about Amish life and the Mennonites. We learned so much about the their culture. Alex even bought us a pretzel. That was a really nice touch. He was very personable and attentive to our every need. We felt like royalty. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, and definitely ask for Alex as your guide. I'm looking for more bookings with Alex's company. I'm going to request him personally. Thank Alex for s wonderful experience!!! From Crystal and Fred!!

Exchanges with Amish people: very down to earth practical and good social skills ( compared to non Amish youth today) Also great guide ,he was very informative and gave us a varied experience: tour of typical Amish home, Amish leather work and quilting a Delicious Amish lunch, at a great price. And tips on what not to do ( photograph people or homes).

Our tour guide, James, was very educated on the lifestyle of the Amish and gave us a lot of information on the ride there. We asked a lot of questions and he answered them confidently. He then took us to different shops/restaurants in the city of Lancaster. We had a wonderful time and left knowing all about the Amish culture.

This was one of the best trips we have ever been on and we have been on many. Tom our tour driver couldn’t do enough to ensure our day was unforgettable . His knowledge of the Amish was amazing and he ensured we saw every aspect of Amish life that could fit into the time allocated . We saw farmers using horses to drive farm machinery in the fields , an Amish settlement , buggies galore driving along the lanes place visited numerous shops, bakeries , work places and a cafe serving true Amish food for our lunch . Everything was perfect thanks to Tom !!

Not every tour you gonna get a history professor who has a PhD. Our tour guide James is so knowledgeable and very experienced. We had a fantastic time at the Amish country - Some of us got our questions answered in depth, and some of us had a very good nap when James was talking lol. Either way, you gonna be satisfied. Completely in love with the Amish culture - not gonna become an Amish, but definitely need to come here whenever I have a burnout from work. Just being in the Amish country is a privilege - fresh air, nice view, cute animals, friendly people, organic food… Simple lifestyle is a lot of city people dream for on a daily basis, which you can find it here.
