We went in late August - weather was windy, wet but the sun came out in the latter half of the cruise. We took the Quest (shorter), not the 26 Glaciers (longer) cruise - I think it was adequate time on the boat. The glaciers & waterfalls were really pretty and it was good to see them up close. Saw some otters, a seal, and a bald eagle, otherwise it was a quiet trip animal wise. Going on the shorter cruise allowed time at the end of the cruise to wander around the (very) small Whittier town... The transportation was comfortable. our driver was informative and kept a stream of tidbits going all along the trip so we weren't bored. Lunch was so-so, enough so we wont be hungry.

**The Most** inaccurately described trip I've ever taken on Trip Advisor. Instead, maybe consider the 26 Glacier cruise as all of your "adventure time" is actually waiting for them to leave an return. This one however is the more expensive trip of the 2 and by far incredibly disappointing. All time spent on the boat became easily forgotten when you have to wait equally long post trip (with no where to go or dry to sit) for your bus. The description also advertised they welcome service animals, but then we were also ridiculed for "not getting the prior okay" to booking & we almost were not allowed on the bus. And lastly, we have to wait an additional 45 minutes to leave because the 2nd driver did not have an accurate manuscript of riders & was waiting for authorization that never came so thank goodness he was still kind enough to let them board. Neither bus ride was narrated either as promised and the topper was an hour late return. So 12 hour day for a 3.5 hour boat ride that the caption rushed through to make it back for a "5:00 bus", furthering the frustration and confusion.

Terrible experience, the ship had engine problems ,after 2 hours of cruising and they said that we shall have money back. Instead respecting the rules of crise company and refound the paid amount you ask impressions??? When you will refound our money?

The trip was fun and informative from beginning to the end! Our bus driver Maggie was a lot of fun and had great stories!! Ship crew were and Ranger Aubrey were outstanding! Saw lots of widelife on both bus and boat!! Lunch was filling and tasty we had salmon chowder! Highly recommend!! We did the 3.75 boat ride and it was adequate!

So glad I didn't take this version of the tour and switched to 26 Glaciers (same tour company) when I arrived at the dock. Many more glaciers on this one, and longer time out. The glaciers were breathtaking. We only saw some sea lions, birds, and some fish jumping, no bears! But as promised "no seasickness" which I appreciated. The bus to and from Anchorage is for both tours, so keep that in mind. The bus driver told us that on this tour they saw calving of a glacier which sounds awesome, but again this tour was outstanding!

This ship is and cruise you run is controlled by racist southerners . Ryan is rude. Want full refund.

Spending the time with my mom was the best part of the cruise. The food was not very good, soup was barely warm and mom said it wasn’t very tasty. I don’t eat salmon so I just ate the salad and bun. It was very crowded at the table to really enjoy eating at all. Marjorie was very kind, pleasant and great attitude. She helped my mom get up and down the ramp(she uses a cane/walker). That was very helpful and appreciated very much by myself. It was great seeing the glaciers but missed seeing any wild life. The captain was great along with the rest of the crew including the forest ranger.

I had a fabulous day getting so close to the two glaciers we saw, it was informative with the Park Ranger on board, it was beautiful, it was exciting and the salmon chowder for lunch was delicious.

The ship was nice, staff was lovely. First, we saw almost no wildlife. Glaciers were beautiful. It was pouring. They couldn’t help that. But the experience is poorly planned. The bus trip began at 9:00 but they had no plans for dealing with rain. If it weren’t raining there would have been stops. So it was a lot of waiting on the bus and in the freezing rain. Second, we were not aware that there were two boat trips of different lengths taking the same bus back. So we had to kill almost two hours in the freezing rain with almost nowhere to go. We found a coffee shop. If we had known that info we would probably have taken the longer boat trip. Basically, they can’t control the rain but they did nothing to deal with the fact that it was pouring and very cold.
