This is a really beautiful park with alot of shaded areas. We enjoyed this much better than Animal Kingdom. We were fortunate to go at a low tourist time during 3rd week in April. The park was not crowded at all. Longest wait in line for a ride was 15 minutes, with most at 5 minutes! Animal enclosures/spaces were beautiful and well cared for. Park was very clean and staff were friendly. Understand they want to keep trash to a minimum but was really frustrating not having a physical map we could use. There were not enough large maps posted throughout the park and it was difficult to see map on phones in sunlight. Rides were fun! They mostly offer roller coasters that are amazing! Also enjoyed flume and rapids rides. We bought dining plan and it was worth it if you're going to be there past 6pm. Food is very expensive. One meal will cost over $20 per person so a $50 dining plan is a good value as you can get something to eat or drink every 90 minutes. BUT it was very frustrating not knowing what was/wasn't covered in the plan. We waited in line at a kiosk that said was on dining plan only to find out SOME items on the menu were on the dining plan. Ice cream snacks and bottled water are not on the dining plan. Food was ok...not great but we don't expect alot at these parks anyway. However, they could be more detailed by listing this type of info on their website and app. People feel cheated when the plan they buy has so many limitations and hidden rules. We also did not understand why they would charge $5 for skyride in addition to the ticket price. We did pay for it to get back to front of park but again felt overcharged for something that should have been included in ticket price. Overall our experience was a positive one and we'd go back again. Just do your homework before going, maybe print a map off before going and there are discounts out there, don't pay full price for an admission ticket!

Lots of family fun especially for those seeking thrill rides. We've found the animal enclosures to be hit or miss but that's to be expected when dealing with nature. The safari setup gives the giraffes, rhinos, zebras, etc lots of room to roam. The elephant enclosure is also a good size and the primates have a very nice space. We love the cheetahs. As pass holders we've seen all the animals at one time or another. Today we saw no lions, elephants, tigers and my grandson was hoping to see the echidna but struck out. A frustrating part to expect is that paths are often closed and not noted on the app map. We had 17,000 steps today and a good amount of backtracking. We'll be back for certain. Watch for ticket deals and specials.

Took 11 year old grandson to Busch Gardens Tampa and was not impressed. The grandson wasn’t either. Not many rides except for roller coasters which we don’t do. The only saving grace was the safari area, which was cool. But not cool enough for the $130 admission price for sure. When we were there many things were closed, which was horrible too. This was my first visit here and I won’t be returning. Grew up in MD and used to get to Busch Gardens Williamsburg ever so often growing up and as an adult and will say that one is amazing! Highly recommend that one for sure.

If it wasn't for Iron Gwazi this would have been a 3 star review but I'll give it a star purely for that as it is incredible and probably the best roller coaster I have ever been on. The rest of the park however feels a bit like Alton Towers in the sun, minimal themeing, disinterested employees and extortionate food! Now it may be all the prices are inflated to encourage all day dining I'm. Not Sure but chik fil a (which was very poor) was over $23 for a measly very plain chicken sandwich (mine was only missing the pickles by my request) some waffle fries and a diet coke. This is for one person. Picture attached. There is no air con anywhere to speak of so it felt very very hot. We had unlimited fast track with iron gwazi which was amazing as the queues were long and I have never seen such inefficient loading of rides. We won't return food and drink are an absolute rip off and 20-30% more expensive than Disney and universal who do this so much better. Also where are the animals?

A fantastic day out A breath of fresh air compared with Disney, we had a great day out with Young children none of those crazy lines, our grand children had an amazing time. The food is excellent, lots of rides with short lines a must for anyone in Florida

Really a sad and terrible experience. Went with my high school for our senior trip and was let down in almost every aspect. We arrived around 10, but the rides were closed until 2 due to weather. This wouldn't have been a huge issue if not for the fact that the park also decided to close an hour early, meaning we and all the other schools/regular park-goers had only 2 hours to ride the roller coasters. Restaurants started opening when we arrived, but by the time we were ready to eat, only two restaurants that served the exact same food were open. We were not able to eat dinner as these two restaurants had lines outside the building by then. I can't complain much about prices as I did purchase a meal pass, but the burger I bought had precooked ingredients and was put together cafeteria-style. It was not good, and would've costed me $17, not including a side and drink. The one positive of this whole trip was the live performance done by Icons, who put on a really great song and dance show. Besides that, the trip was a huge let down. Don't waste your money, go somewhere else.

Firstly, the coasters were great and this was our primary reason for visiting. We visited mid week out of Spring Break. However, having visited a few times since 2009, and always loving this place, the food, the customer service and overall value for money led me to downgrade my rating. As we only had a day to see and do all the things we wanted we splashed out on a (very expensive) pass which included all day dining and Quick Que. Having looked at individual prices this appeared to be a good deal. But, many of the rides were not busy and therefore Quick Que provided very little additional benefit. Rides were understaffed and so at times when we could/should have been ushered forward this did not happen. For this reason I would suggest simply purchasing a $5 pass for rides which were busy or in peak holiday season/weekends. This would be a much cheaper option on a day like yesterday where the park is not busy. Finally, 'All Day Dine'. This is only available at the 5 main restaurants so no quick stop to pick up a drink or a snack as you make your way around the park. Instead queue in dreary, dated restaurants which are also understaffed for mediocre food serviced on single use paper and plastic. As a British person that's travelled extensively in Europe and the rest of the world, I cannot believe that single use plastics and other single use items continue to be churned out in great volume on a daily basis. Busch Gardens (and Florida in general) need to wake up to this and do something about it. It's light years behind other countries and I have been shocked by the extent of its use in the States. 'All Day Dining' is also a misleading term. With all but the restaurant at the park entrance closing at 5.30, half hour before park closing time in the day of our visit. This info should be clearly displayed at the 4 other park restaurants. All day dining is also restrictive in that you can't have a starter/side and a dessert when ordering. At times this would have been a preference over an entree. You can also only use it once in every 90 minutes so be aware of this. Overall we had a great time on the coasters but standards like customer service, food standard and even landscaping and street performances (there were none) have dropped over the years. We left feeling that we had been rinsed and not like we'd had value for money.

The animal sanctuary is a Great site to see....so many animals roaming free and beautiful! Each of the sections have something to offer! I must say the Moraccan Palace and the Remix program was Beyond PHENOMENAL!! Those skaters are top notch and with SO MUCH enthusiasm!! What they can do on skates is BEAUTIFUL and Mesmerizing!

I went with family and friends during the Food and Wine Festival. The food was great. The rides are great, but customer service was disappointing. Some staff members and food service workers were rude or short. Most seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing or simply didn’t care. The pleasant exception were the 2 gentlemen in the cupcake store. They brightened our day with their helpful and upbeat attitude.

Javisdad

Understaffed. Disorganized. They do take care of the animals but no real service otherwise. No trams running. Impossible to get food. To ride rides you have to upgrade your tickets. Park looks good but no one working. It took 40 minutes in line before I saw the first employee.
