The tour took us up the side of the canyon and afforded us breathtaking views of the Colorado River basin. There’s no way you could ever get these views of the canyon from the paved roads available to regular cars. Our guide was amazingly knowledgeable and an excellent driver. Always felt safe even on some very rough and narrow parts of the trail. This tour was worth every penny!

Dave was our guide for the day and he was great!!!! We did the whole day white rim trail with lunch by the Colorado river. Wow how beautiful canyonlands is to see this way. Definitely book this tour and be able to see the beautiful landscape and formations and arches that not everyone gets to experience!!!!!

My husband and I took the Arches tour from NAVTEC the day before with Devon and we had an awesome time. The next day we had another tour scheduled for the Canyonlands. Unfortunately, there was a glitch between Viator and NAVTEC and they could not see our reservation. Instead of refunding our money and sending us on our way, they found a guide on a moment’s notice and we were able to do the tour even though we didn’t have the minimum of three people in our group. NAVTEC went above and beyond to give us a great experience with Blaine, who was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Can’t say enough great things about our experience with this tour company.

Our tour guide was MIKE who, from the start, was full of energy, knowledge and passion. He clearly knew his craft and was keen to share his knowledge of the geography and history of the beautiful Canyonlands. One of the highlights of this particular tour is you get to explore parts of the park not accessible to most commercial vehicles so you get to see a completely different aspect of the park. I have pictures/memories from the tour that I didn't dream I could have got had I have not been in a 4x4, so it is certainly worth booking. The whole day was paced perfectly and we had the opportunity to stop for pictures, do some small hikes if wanted, stop for lunch right down on the river as well as cruise and up down the steep walls of the white rim in the 4x4 which was exhilarating. An absolute must do tour of Canyonlands while in Moab. 10 out of 10

We had a great day touring Canyonlands National Park with Bronson. He took us to sites we would never have seen otherwise and down trail we would not have otherwise travelled. Altogether a great day.

We had a great day with Ron as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable of the history and especially the geology of the area. He paced the ride well throughout the day and we had a great 4x4 experience in Canyonlands NP - seeing a nice portion of the White Rim Road and the Shaffer Trail. Seeing the canyons from the bottom up was quite a treat. The lunch was excellent and Ron provided ample opportunities for water and rest stop breaks throughout the tour. We'd happily tour with NAVTEC and Ron again.

We did two full day trips. The first was the White Rim Canyonlands trip. The second was the Chesler Park trip in Needles. Our guide, Matt U., was outstanding. The trips was very well organized and allowed us to see parts of the Canyonlands park from perspectives you simply cannot do on your own (unless you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, and in the case of Chesler Park in Needles an elevated vehicle for the clearances needed....plus real experience). I have been to the Grand View Point and other parts of the Island in the Sky a few times. It was fun doing the White Rim trail and Schaefer Road....seeing the park from a very different perspective. I had never done Needles and it was a thrilling and informative day with Matt on this trip. You go over Elephant Hill which is a very rough "road" (LOL) and one or two more difficult areas. Then you are in parts of the park that fairly few people get to see. To be fair, this is 60% thrill ride and 40% scenery. I believe Navtec has other Needles trips that are much more focused on the scenery. So, great weather, a great guide and fantastic scenery. The food was very good. Bring you own form of a water bottle that you can refill on the truck. Now a little more on Matt. Matt has a long history with the Moab area and Utah in general. He was also a bull rider for a number of years. He loves the area, is passionate about it. He also has many cowboy poems which are fun to listen to as you come and go from the main attraction. We had booked the White Rim Trail day but were going to do Needles on our own. By the end of the day we asked Matt if it would be possible to do Needles with him. Navtec was able to make that happen on very short notice.

Bronson was our driver and tour guide. this was a fantastic experience. thrilling road along cliff edges. Hidden spots and details that you will never find on your own.

You can’t appreciate the beauty of the canyon until you are actually in it. Our guide Chance was great! He knows the area, very knowledgeable and interesting. And most importantly he’s an excellent driver. Coming up Shafer trail is a real experience, wouldn’t want anyone else driving me up that trail!
