I had my grandchildren, teenagers with me and they were engaged the whole tour. Jeff our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and spent time with each guest. He checked in with each of us several times to make sure the tour was what we wanted. It was a great memory for us on Mothers Day

York was an absolutely amazing tour guide!!! So fun and knowledgeable! The food was all great and we learned so much about Chinese history and immigration to the US. We had a great time and will definitely recommend this tour to others.

First timer, doing Food walking tours and both ones that I booked were amazing having a Mickey and Janeen as the ultimate guides made it so much better. Full of energy and doing this on my solo trip made it an unforgettable experience!

My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. It was a great pleasure to have Jeff as our Chinatown tour guide. Jeff's passion for guiding was evident in every aspect of the tour. We explored a variety of Chinatown gems, including The Phoenix for delightful dim sum, Lao Sze Chuan for the flavorful Dried Chili Spicy Chicken and eggplant in fish sauce, Xian Cuisine for the unique lamb "burger," and Chiu Quon for the delicious Portuguese milk tart. Jeff's knowledge and enthusiasm for the area truly shone through, making the tour both educational and enjoyable. His 5-star service was consistent throughout, and I can confidently say that Jeff is an exceptional guide. As a teacher, I was particularly impressed by his vocabulary it added an extra layer of depth to the experience. If your are ever in Chicago I highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking an enriching Chinatown experience. Thank you, Jeff, for a fantastic evening!"

One of the best walking food tours we have ever taken. We had food from the 4 main Chinese regions that is available in the US. And not only was it unique to us but delicious. Additionally we learned how the histories of the US and of China affects the history of Chinese food in our country. By the way, we were taken to some award winning restaurants including Michelin honors. Our guide, Jeff, has a wealth of knowledge and you can tell he loves history, his city and food. He is engaging and humourous. He takes very seriously the comfort and safety of each individual in the group. Though a relatively small Chinatown, it is definitely worth taking this 3-hour tour.

The dim sum was amazing, as well as the Szechuan chicken, and finally the beef noodle bowl. Janine, our tour guide was a treasure who entertained us with the history of Chinatown while keeping us on schedule. We were there celebrating my besties birthday and the whole group sang to her. We left full and satisfied, a little more educated and feeling we had spent time with new friends! Highly recommend!

Great experience and I am rating this top notch since I discovered something new to love! I travel a lot and have taken food tours of Chinatowns in LA and NYC so delighted to find new things on a menu and appreciate the flavor as much as I enjoyed learning the history. And having Jeff as a guide was a perk since I've already been on tour with him before and knew from the first bite I was in good hands. Highly recommend!
