Absolutely loved this walking tour of downtown LA with our guide, Paul, who was knowledgeable, friendly, engaging, and a great storyteller. The tour covered so much more than we expected, including history, architecture, arts, culture, how and why DTLA has and continues to evolve the way it has, and fascinating stories about many of the interesting local people (some celebrities, some finally gaining much deserved recognition, and other interesting characters) that have contributed to the rich history of DTLA. Highly recommended!

Paul is awesome! It turned out that there were only my group of two with him and I did notice the company has the policy to cancel if there are not enough people but Paul showed up on time and brought a professional tour. He's very friendly, knowledgeable, also I can tell he really enjoyed the city and happy to share that enthusiasm to the tourists. Thank you, Paul! The itinerary is well designed, walking through a lot of historical locations. My favorite is the Bradbury building, because of blade runner. The tour ends at the Grand Central Market with a lot of food choices so please plan your tour and meal accordingly since that's the only thing I had missed.

This was a great tour. Paul was booked for 11 but the rest didn’t turn up so it was a private tour for us two. This was great and Paul’s enthusiasm and love of LA really shone through. We had a great time and Paul’s passion really showed through. I would really recommend this tour for anyone who wants to get an understanding of how LA came to be what it is today. The visit to ‘The Last Bookstore’, the Grand Central Market and the Arts district was great.
