My niece and I had a wonderfully relaxing tour of La Jolla stopping in a few spots for delicious food. Our guide, Aingus (sp?) was superb. Relaxed, informative and fun! Highly recommend.

What a perfect way to experience a bit of La Jolla. I was short on time and only had a few hours to spend in La Jolla. This tour included four stops at amazing little gems of restaurants, and along the way my guide talked about the neighborhood, the history, pointed out interesting sites, and suggestions for what to do after or on a future visit. I felt like I got a very well rounded introduction to the area. The food at all four stops was spot on. Absolutely delicious and well executed in charming locations. And I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. She was charming, gracious, and I enjoyed our conversations as much as the tour.

I don't normally write reviews but I had such an amazing tour with foodie foosteps I feel I have to! Truly a foodie experience (i.e. the food was delicious and plentiful). Our Guide, Laurie, led us to several fantastic restaurants where we sample their signature dishes along with a specialty cocktail. The homemade pasta, bread, and dipping sauce was my favorite (that paired great with the Chianti Reserva they served with it). The tour took us all over downtown La Jolla and into the La Jolla cove. Laurie gave us some history and showed us the area from a locals perspective. Could not recommend more if you like food and want a excellent tour of the town!!

We are local, live in La Jolla and took a chance on trying this tour. We always end up at the same 2-3 restraunts and needed a little shake up in our routines. We had done a few food tours when traveling so thought why not?! Well, I can say that this was one of the BEST food tours we have ever been on. Laurie was an excellent guide, her knowledge of smaller DELICIOUS of the beaten path restraunts was very impressive! She added spice by adding locale history about a local architect Irving Gill, and tid bits about La Jolla history that is not written in books. I will definitely be a repeat customer when friends and family come to town!

What a fund way to spend the day with friends and/or family! This is a must do! We learned fun historical facts about La Jolla while we strolled through the village and tasted yummy food at local restaurants. Make sure you come hungry! The restaurants are very generous with portions.
