I loved that didn't need a tour guide, so I could easily stop where I wanted along the drive - Lunched at El Indio and stopped to walk at Presidio Park and at Windansea Beach. As a local and history buff, I was surprised by all learned about San Diego.. Definitely recommend it!

Super cool GPS tech…we got to wind our way through the best of San Diego. Made several stops along our journey and had lunch in the Gaslamp. I recommend it for both SoCal natives or those visiting – fun to be entertained and learn along the way!

I found this self audio tour very confusing and frustrating. I frequently got lost and then had to put in the street names into my GPS to get on track. Also the app would literally wait until you were at the turn before telling you to turn. I ended up ending the tour and heading back to my hotel.

We started out fine, but made a couple unscripted stops and we lost the audible turn by turn directions and could not get back on track. We also did not like the way the narrator’s voice stopped communicating to us for sometimes 3-5 minutes at a time. We abandoned the tour within 20 minutes because we couldn’t get back on course. Overall great idea, poor technology. Won’t do self guided tours with TA again. Wouldn’t mind a refund??

If it worked. GPS vocal instructions worked less than half-the-time. Very difficult to download. Because the GPS did not work most of the time I would say this is dangerous.

Right on point.. perfect directions, we were able to stop along the way and pick up where we left off on the audio tour. Very well done if you don’t mind driving .. didn’t make it through the whole tour as we found the ferry and was late getting back. Worth the price !

Kelly_G

The directions were unclear at some points and the narrator often said where to turn as we approached the turn, causing us to miss a number of turns.

Jennifer J

Fun and informative and a great way to see San Diego. We got turned around when downtown (construction, etc) so missed a lot in this area. We were able to tour areas we would never have seen otherwise.

dilnavazm2023

We undoubtedly saw so much of beautiful San Diego. BUT the vocal directions need to be synced better. Too many last minute traffic directions which made us take many U turns. No recalculating of routes. Silences were too long. Information given was very good but confusing when spoken along with the directions. Great idea but needs to be tweaked. Wish you all the best.

We have been to San Diego once before. This driving tour took us places we would never go to as just a visitor to the city. Great direction, information and over all done very well.
