My sister and I toured Scotland in September, 2023 and one of our stops was Inverness. We chose not to rent a car and drive so she picked out this tour and not really knowing about the area we were not disappointed. It was guided by William in a kilt which was a nice touch which also gave you a taste of his clan loyalty. We traveled in a comfortable 8 seater van which made the trip much more intimate. The itinerary was interesting. The view of the Dunrobin Castle from the garden level is unforgettable. At the last stop at the Glenmorangie Distillery we were gathered to taste of wee dram of distilled Scotch (which I passed on) and William (Bill) treated us to some of his wife’s, Mary, homemade shortbread. Such a generous personal gesture❗️

Bill, the tour guide, who was a history lecturer, was a treasure! It was an informative, entertaining tour. Loved touring Dunrobin Castle and the whiskey tasting, as well.

The castle was great. Our tour guide Drew was very knowledgeable and personable. He made the drive interesting. He oicked a good place for lunch and directed us to excellent sites.

The castle was wonderful, the falcon presentation was so interesting, & Drew was a great tour guide. I didn’t have time to finish the castle viewing or get a pic with the falcon.

We could not have asked for a better experience as we traveled to and toured the Dunrobin Castle and Glenmorangie Distillery. The castle was magnificent and was the inspiration for the Disney princess castles. The beautiful grounds provided the perfect environment for a lovely stroll as well as a falconry exhibit. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting at the Glenmorangie Distillery along with commentary and explanation from our guide. We were so fortunate to have had Stewart as our guide. He provided a pleasant, calm, and caring environment while filling our trip with interesting information at every turn. Both trips we’ve taken with Happy Tours were well worth the time.

Bill had a weather of knowledge about the history of the castle and its place in Scottish history. Was also knowledgeable in leading the tour group in the art of whiskey tasting.

Stuart was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide! The small intimate group made for a very enjoyable day. A few fantastic highlights made for a relaxing and less hectic day trip while seeing gorgeous sites!

David_B

The extraordinarily informative efforts of our guide Stuart. At every stop and along the way we were treated to a wealth of information and unique insights.

This was a good tour and one I’d recommend. The distillery was interesting but the castle stills the show. Amazing place and the gardens are second to none. The Duke who held the property isn’t the most honorable but what a place! The Falcons show is a must see as well. Craig is a good guide who will watch out for you, a safe driver, shares good knowledge and I heck of a nice guy

It was a relaxing trip. We weren’t rushed. Stuart have lots of interesting facts and stories. Seeing the Cairn was a pleasant surprise
