Your Itinerary

Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco)

.Comércio Square: This Square was the centerpiece of the reconstruction that took place after the earthquake of 1755 which has reduced Lisbon to rubble. In a privilege location, facing the river, this is the most popular square in Lisbon and one of the largest in Europe.

Alfama

In Alfama you’ll experience the real Lisbon, with its charismatic (and intense) people, cats sleeping on windowsills, twisting streets and blind alleyways where the roofs almost touch each other. Alfama is the oldest district in Lisbon and Portugal’s own musical genre – FADO – can be heard almost everywhere in this neighborhood.

Miradouro da Senhora do Monte

...See Lisbon Downtown , Tgaus River from one of the highest hills of Lisbon.

Castelo, Alfama & Mouraria

.After a moment to relax at the top of the viewpoint we’ll start going down the hill to salute Mouraria, Lisbon’s most multiethnic neighbourhood. Here you may find all types of restaurants because about a fifth of the population is from Asia, mainly from China, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan.

Miradouro da Graca (Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen)

Going up the hill until Graça you’ll find breathtaking panoramic views at the famous belvedere “Senhora do Monte”.

Lisbon Cathedral

..Lisbon’s Cathedral (Sé de Lisboa): Also known as the Church of Santa Maria Maior, this is one of the oldest monuments in the city, as it was built in the XII century. After several excavations in the Gothic cloister it was revealed archaeological remains dating back almost 3,000 years, from the Iron Age to the Middle Ages. A sacred place not to be missed.

Praca da Figueira

This square was once Lisbon’s main marketplace. It was home to a covered market, which was built in 1885 and demolished in the 1950s. In its place, a bronze equestrian statue of King João I was erected.

Never been on a Segway but it was easy after the instructions from our guide. A great way to navigate round the narrow, hilly streets of Lisbon old town. Great value for money, good fun and a fabulous guide in Eduardo.

We toured Alfama with Eduardo, and it was a great experience. There was horrible rain that delayed our arrival in Lisbon, and the tour operator was able to reschedule. Then rain again at the new day and time and another rescheduling. Finally got to tour on the afternoon of our second day, and it was great. Eduardo is a charming and knowledgeable guide, who urged us to have fun, and we did! As others have said, this is less a food tour than others we have taken, but there was more than enough food to eat. It was just less about the food and more about the history of the neighborhood and details about the sights. Highly recommend, and consider yourself lucky if Eduardo is your guide!

Our guide Peter is so knowledgable, and it’s really nice for the first-time visit to the country to learn a great deal of the history. The trip itself is so fun, especially on all the hills. We love it!

Simon was lovely, fun, informative. It was so fun on the Segway, saw much of Alabama without struggling with the hills. Great time.

Romain was a fabulous tour guide! We really enjoyed our time with him. He was very knowledgeable and so easy to talk to. We HIGHLY recommend him for any tours you do! He was so accommodating for us as my husband couldn’t ride the Segway so we did a marvelous walking tour! We can’t say enough about Romain❤️❤️❤️

We were met in an easily identifiable location by our lovely hostess. We had an informative walking tour stopping off at 2 places for tapas and wine, delicious. The second stop the restaurant owner wasn't what you'd call welcoming but entertaining because of this. Our last stop was main meal listening to Fado sung by 3 different performers. Highly recommend.
