Susan was wonderful! Lots of great history facts about the area and culture. The food was just ok but I think it was just us hyping up our trip and thinking gumbo and jambalaya was going to be better here than anywhere else. It was just different, not better though. I’d still recommend the tour though cuz we are all our food and so did the three other families/couples/solo people with us. And we were beyond full. I loved all the walking we did to know the whole area too.

Food was great and the group was very welcoming. A great way to to start a trip in New Orleans. Have to give our tour guide a big shout out as she was excellent, Suzette not only told us the history of the food she gave us a full history of the town, diving into architecture, politics, cultural changes. Really enjoyable. A good balance of food and history.
