Your Itinerary

Lower East Side

(Pass by)

The Lower East Side has fueled the storylines of films as famous as Gangs of New York and Once Upon a Time in America. It is to the origins of the city, to the history of immigrants, the Mafia and prohibition, but also to the challenges of urbanization and living together that the guided tour of this district invites you. Today's Lower East Side will delight both art lovers (street art and art galleries have proliferated in recent years) and those looking for great restaurants and bars in the area.

Chinatown

(Pass by)

Chinatown will immerse you in an atmosphere with radically different codes, with many shops (early, fishmongers ...), small workshops ... or Columbus Park, the former site of Five Points, where locals go today hui to wander, play xianqui (chess Chinese) or practice tai chi chuan ...

Little Italy

(Pass by)

Finally, and even though its surface area has shrunk, Little Italy remains the historic district of the Italian community. Mulberry Street is home to a large number of restaurants and delicatessens. This iconic street proudly displays the colors of Italy and hosts the festivities of San Gennaro every year.

Through her dynamism, her vivacity, her natural and sunny good humor, Audrey was able to instill in us a part of the history and American culture around the neighborhoods of Lower East Side, Little Italy and China Town since the arrival of the first migrants to this day. The human-sized group was very appreciable for its more intimate side which made it possible to punctuate the visit with very enriching little anecdotes and greatly facilitated the interactions between the participants and Audrey. We particularly appreciated the quality of this visit, which allowed us to live, by proxy, a small fraction of the life of an expatriate in NYC and largely contributed to providing us with essential insight to fully understand and appreciate this exciting stay. in NYC. Thanks again !

Thanks to Aymeric for this great visit! He was very attentive and listened to the group. He knew how to interest us in both the history and the current atmosphere of these neighborhoods. He also shared great experiences of life in the USA. We really felt accompanied like a friend!

A great discovery of these New York neighborhoods where Fred's anecdotes and experiences allow us to better immerse ourselves in a New York from another era and its evolution. To do without hesitation

Fred was our guide. A wonderful person, very interesting. The visit took place in the rain. We appreciated that despite this this outing was maintained because we did not have the possibility of rescheduling just like 2 other people. Through his comments on the history of the place, his anecdotes, his tips, he knew how to make this afternoon exciting and even made us forget the rain. In conclusion, everything was perfect. We highly recommend this type of tour.

The anecdotes and details allowed us to understand this place in New York. We had already “wandered” around the area, but for our third visit to the city we wanted to have more precise explanations to better understand
