Tom's passion for Philadelphia and extensive knowledge of its history and landmarks shone through from start to finish, making our first day in Philly amazing. He was flexible and allowed us to get out or stay in the car anywhere he took us. He picked up on one of my family's neurodiversity and rolled with it beautifully. It was perfect. Thank you!

Our guide, Adam, was outstanding!!! He was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We learned so much about Philadelphia and had so much fun doing so. I highly recommend this tour…we had a wonderful afternoon!!

Our guide Tom was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He added a great intangible to a regular tour. I had limited mobility and he did everything he could to help minimize the walking and standing I had to do. Great lunch recommendation for the obligatory Philly cheesesteak. We got to see all the major spots in Philly plus more that we weren't even aware of. He was very flexible with what we wanted. I liked that he called a few days before the tour to touch base, introduce himself and find out what our expectations were.

This tour was fantastic. We were picked up promptly at our hotel at the arranged time, in a very clean and comfortable van. Adam was our tour guide, and he did a wonderful job. His knowledge of Philadelphia history was outstanding and exactly what we hoped for. Adam allowed us to customize our tour according to the sites we wanted to see, which were primarily historical. Adam took us to Reading Terminal Market, Independence Hall, Congress Hall, the Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross house, and the Philadelphia Mint. He provided so much information on the way to each location, including driving by other significant sites along the way. Adam was courteous and helpful with my husband who required a wheelchair to visit most places. He also took us to Campo’s to pick up a delicious Philly Steak sandwich on our way back to the hotel. We had a wonderful day with Adam as our tour guide and highly recommend this tour.

James was a spectacular guide! My parents, sisters and I enjoyed our day with him riding around Philly and learning about its history! His depth of knowledge as a PhD-level guide was exceptional. Even more so, he was lighthearted and kind and made our tour fun and memorable! Highly recommend James for anyone.

Despite the rave reviews I read about this tour prior to booking, I would rate this tour just average. Although we had listed the attractions we wanted to visit, our tour left out some key ones and instead included others that we didn’t really have an interest in. Note that your guide does NOT attend certain attractions with you - Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Congress Hall, Betsy Ross House, etc. He drives you to them and drops you off for those tours and then picks you up again when they conclude. (Tour did handle booking tickets to Independence Hall for us.) I felt like our guide also discouraged us from adding attractions onto our agenda that the company covers in other separate tours (ie, Valley Forge) and even talked us out of visiting them on our own time after the tour ended (US Mint). Our tour guide, Owen, came highly recommended by other reviewers, but I found him to be just so-so. Overall, I didn’t feel like the tour (which was quite expensive) really added any value vs hopping the city transportation and visiting the historic attractions on your own.

Tom was wonderful! Our private tour was 4 hours, and we stayed engaged the entire time. Our tour started at 8:00 AM and lasted until 12 Noon. I was so happy we decided to do an early tour to avoid the crowds. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Philadelphia.

Our tour guide, Tom, was what made the tour memorable and fun. He had facts and stories he shared, was always upbeat and eager to make sure we had the best experience possible. He was sensitive to our needs as well. It was absolutely the highlight of our trip to Philadelphia.
