Civic Center

Symbolic of the new American empire out here on the west coast

Painted Ladies

The famous view!

Alamo Square

The park with the view of the painted ladies

Hayes Valley

New trendy neighborhood where we meet in a repurposed shipping container. Great food for lunch after the tour and coffee before.

Mission District

Great food, architecture, people, parks and street art. From missionary farmland to latino heart of the city to the trendiest and most expensive part of town. A microcosim of the contrasts within the city and San Francisco's to evolve yet maintain its diverse character.

Castro Theatre

Some call The Castro our "gaybourhood". A lot of history, culture, rainbow flags and cool buildings.

Golden Gate Park

Beautiful Golden Gate Park. Bigger than Central Park in New York. We cruise around and take a break from the bustling city.

Yes we finish back where we began. Great lunch to be had close by.

Amazing half day with Tour Guide Josh. Lots of great information, a real insider's look at the city and neighborhoods.

This is one of the best tours I’ve ever done was travelling. Josh our guide was extremely knowledgeable, personal and aware of our safety at all times. The route was well planned, avoiding those hills of San Francisco as promised. It really gave me an insight into this beautiful city and I feel I got to see so much more by being on a bike. I would highly recommend this tour

I booked what I thought was the website but it was trip advisor and they didn't have my reservation at SOSF bike tours but I showed my email and all was good. I did call in advance to confirm and had to leave a message but my call wasn't returned. However, Frank was an awesome tour guide, very knowledgable and insuring we were comfortable with the tour and enjoying our ride.

This is a great way to get around and see the city. Frank, our guide was so knowledgeable and I learned a lot about the city through him.

I booked this trip through TripAdvisor website but unfortunately my booking never fed through to the bike shop / tour operator. So when I showed up at the shop I saw surprised faces as they didn’t expect me!! However, they were extremely kind, called their boss Cristal who spoke with me in person, explained, apologized, refunded (!!!) the money on the spot and gave me a bike for free (!!!) for the full day. I still had an amazing time and cycled 25km though the city with beautiful weather and sightseeing along the way. The people in the shop were so kind and caring, I would certainly go again and recommend to anyone.

The most fun city bike tour I’ve been on (including various Euro and US cities)! Josh took me out for an amazing tour even though it was raining and nobody else showed up. Then, he gave me a deal on a rental, provided some food recs, sketched a route on a map for me, and I spent the remainder of the day riding to the GG Bridge and down the coast. Teared up as the sun burst through when I made it to the Pacific overlook. Transformative, beautiful experience - highly recommend!

We had been to SF many times but were pleasantly surprised at how many new discoveries and hidden gems Josh showed us. As a native son of SF, he had lots of great stories and added a lot of color and context to our tour.

Frank was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the city and gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Next time we'll do the bridge and Sausalito!

Josh was great! It was a great way to embrace the city quickly. I really appreciated the list of restaurants and nightlife at the end of the trip

Our guide Josh was very informative and just a really nice guy. Plenty of tips on places to eat and drink in all the neighborhoods so I’d recommend doing this at the start of your trip. The bike ride is relaxed and avoids most hills. Highly recommend
