Mariana was our guide, she was punctual and patient. Our trip to Sintra was customized to the way we want. She offered us suggestions and arranged it perfectly so we made to all the places we want and not having to wait for so long in each one. She is very knowledgeable about the city and passionate about what she does and that means everything. Great company to be in the business, you should book with her.

The trip with Mariana was fantastic! The town of Sintra was terrific in its own right, but Mariana made it even more special with her wonderful insights and obvious love of the area. She delighted us with childhood stories of her exploration of the area as well as being extremely knowledgeable about the history, geology, politics and general dynamics of Sintra. She answered every question we asked without hesitation and it all made for a truly wonderful day. Highly recommended!

I had a great time with Dinis on the Sintra Tour. He is a very personable guy and you can tell through his stories that he is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of Portugal. The tour gives a perfect view of all the important spots in Sintra, Cabo da Roca, Guincho and Cascais. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lisbon, as you are able to see so many amazing places that you wouldn’t be able to access otherwise. It is different from the other mainstream tours offered in Lisbon, as it offers a unique perspective and it feels like you are visiting these spots with a friend rather than a business.

My partner and I decided to do the Portugal stories tour because we had a short amount of time and wanted to make the most of Lisbon and the surrounding areas. We were going to do Sintra and Caiscais solo by train. But we felt really lucky to have stumbled on the Portugal Stories Tour of Lisbon. Dinis was our guide and he made our tour of Sintra and Caiscais so memorable. Dinis was entertaining, engaging and informative. He had interesting facts about the Quarteira da Regaleira and the Palace of Pena which unfortunately we could't see in the mist on that day. Nevertheless it was very special to be up so high and look down on the forests below. Dinis was very sensitive to what we wanted to do too and allowed us to plan our breaks for a snack and lunch. He didn't rush us at all. All in all, I'd recommend Dinis's Portugal tours highly. You shouldn't leave Portugal without doing Dinis's tour, otherwise you'll live to regret it!
