A truly lovely day spent at the well kept gardens and grounds, fun in the maze a history tour of the castle, Lunch in the restaurant which I must say was outstanding the chef and team should be proud I had Brie and my wife had the quiche all home made with passion 10/10 we cannot wait to return on the ticket that gives entry all year round it is really good value .

Went for a day out with friends and had such a lovely day. Aside from the staff in the shop who were a little less friendly than everyone else, every single person we interacted with was absolutely outstanding, so friendly and helpful they made our day. It was a trip for a friend’s special birthday so thank you to everyone from the ferrymen, the restaurant staff, the team looking after the birds of prey. An absolute credit to the castle which was interesting and in such a beautiful setting. Tickets let you go back within the year so good value. Restaurant food was delicious, such lovely ladies who looked after us beautifully and made it a day to remember.

Went for the Narnia experience in December. My kid loved the experience so much he kept going round the castle to see the characters again. Downside was the wait for the land train and it was an additional cost to the tickets. It took ages to collect us from the entrance. Good fun when on it though. We will return when the weather is better as our kid wanted to play in the gardens and play area but it’s was pouring down. Would recommend.

Booked tickets online but somewhat was confusing as you either have to be a single parent with 3 kids or be 2 adults and 3 kids. No options for 2 adults and 2 kids so I booked a 1 adult and 3 kids ticket thinking the staff would be helpful on arrival & would either accept my booking or at least give me the option to pay the difference for an adult ticket. However, the staff member was unwilling to accept the ticket wording on the website & requested I paid for another adult ticket of £31.50. I had already paid £74 for a family ticket! At check in, I kept being told that it’s (Up To 3 kids) or (up to 2 kids) what absolute rubbish and doesn’t make any logical sense. Very abrunt and rude staff and kept referring to it says it online. NO IT DOES NOT. Even after showing the staff members their own website & their ticket options, they still didn’t acknowledge the wording. In total I paid £105.50 for 2 adults & 2 kids. That’s 1 heck of an expensive day out without having to pay extra for the train, golf & boat. Although, the ticket allows you entry for 12 months, after today’s experience we really won’t be visiting again and i genuinely think it’s not worth the money at all! We have visited many castles and this one is no where as near as appealing or interesting. The important thing is my children had a nice time but as a parent I’ve been to many better castles/attractions for better value for money. The bird show was not impressive at all and the children got bored of the gentleman just talking and talking like a meet and greet experience rather than “spectacular show“. Toilets in filthy condition and should be checked more regularly. The beautiful landscaping and water features along with the beautiful ducks were the highlight. Had high expectations of visiting but such a negative experience along with such extortionate prices

Such an expensive day out! For such a small castle. Then paying £20 for 2 lots of 4 chicken goujons and a few chips and a drink was ridiculous. The castle itself could be opened more, after all its a 20 beded one. Maybe opening under the castle could possibly be another idea. The castle itself was very well kept and I loved the audio, especially where you didn't have to press any more buttons on it when walking around, as it was automatic. There just needs to be more available for the older child, teenage age. Maybe guided tours, where you actually get to listen to someone in depth talking about the castle.

Leeds Castle and grounds are beautiful and well kept. The wildlife is amazing. The playground area is just right for kids of all ages . The Fort is well thought out and full of happy kids. The beach is large and kept very clean.

TERRIBLE!! *** PLEASE avoid if you have disabled (Autistic) children or adults. Yes I visited at a busy time but the crowds were crazy. Paid for ticket and only spent one hour there due to the crowds and queues. Such a shame. I used to visit often with my children that are now adults. I can see the response from other bad reviews is that the ticket gives us free visits for a year. Well that is not true as the ticket cost £35!! £35 for less than an hour visit is crazy. VERY DISAPPOINTED is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!

I have over the years been able to enjoy this beautiful, intact and historic castle in with my family and friends which brings to vision of a warm home when Lady Baille brought it; to more than just stone building by restoring and leaving through a foundation for everyone to just appreciate and It embraces the life and history which expanses though so many centuries. I would recommend taking time to just listen, look at so many parts of this lovely castle (doors, wooden panels, courtyards, portraits, presentations, and the many caring changes to ensure everyone enjoys it for years to come and brings memories and stories remembered. This is without the beautiful grounds with a lake boat to save and stressful time encouraging people who want to visit the Falconry's, maze, play golf, picnic area, cafe offer a wide choice of reasonable priced food and children play forts. I have decided to volunteer to just enjoy giving so much back to this part of history for ever and the time which my family just loved running around through.
