Our tour guide, Roz, was patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and provide great explanations about the area and the Navaho culture. I would highly recommend this tour group and Roz as your tour guide.

Having been to Monument Valley several times over the years and doing the usual rim drive, I wanted to experience some of the off- the-beaten path vistas. I booked through Viatour, and the tour operator was a local Navajo run company. Our driver, was Harry Nez. I can’t say enough good things about him!!!! He picked us up at The View Hotel exactly at the appointed time (5:15 am for the 5:30 sunrise tour). He was a bit reserved a first, but quickly warmed up to us, giving us a lot of back stories on the scenery, and taking us to locations accessible only to guided tours. I had requested a tour focused on photography as I am a nature photographer, and, boy, did I hit the jackpot with Harry!!!! Turns out that he is an extremely talented and accomplished photographer, and knows every spot for the perfect shots. I am so grateful for his expertise, and the fact that he was willing to share so much of his knowledge with me! Also, the fact that he is also a Nikon person, he expertly navigated the settings on my camera and taught me some things I didn’t even know my camera and also my I phone were capable of! I would very highly recommend going out with Harry to anyone considering this tour!!! Thanks again, Harry!

What a riot driving & jostling (sometimes fishtailing on the off-road dune trails) through the valley!! Harry skillfully maneuvered to many great viewing spots, ensuring we got to the right area for sunset photos. Also glad we didn't subject our rental vehicle to the official route.

It was a good mix of action(Little Bit offroad) , cultural& Movie Information, and the whole time a Great view. Great 3 Hours

AMAZING AWESOME Sunrise tour with Harry. What else can I say other than if you're in Monument Valley you MUST book this tour. Aim for the earlier one because Harry will show you some places to get some Milky Way astrophotography. Pack a tripod, but if you forget Harry usually carries one you can borrow, he is after all an amazing photographer!

We took the 3 hour sunrise tour with Harry Nez and he was incredible. The whole experience was amazing and his knowledge of where to go and how to take the best photos only made the experience that much better. I also learned a lot about the Navajo people. Hands down one of the best tour guides I have ever had.

Our tour guide was friendly, fun and very knowledgeable about the history and sites. We did not go on the Sunrise tour as I had a blood sugar low (hypoglycemia) episode at 4 am and was not ready to go on tour for 6 am.

Lee took us on a sunrise tour. He's a wonderful guide; very helpful with local knowledge and with photography tips. He showed us backcountry places we would not have seen on our own. He pointed out various formations and places, along with explaining how they were intertwined with the Navajo culture. It's a wonderful tour. Would do it again and would ask for the same guide. Great company, easy to book, very punctual, and the SUV was comfortable.

Enjoyed this sunrise tour of Monument Valley. Tour guide Lee knew the best spots for picture and shared a lot of tips. Lee drove us around in a Suburban and we were nice and cozy on a 23F morning. Some of the tour companies are using vehicles without an enclosure. Brrr… The tour got a little long and repetitive in the middle. I recommend cutting the trip by 30-45min and providing coffee for the sunrise tour.

Second trip back with renowned photographer Harry Nez. The tour was even better than my first in 2022 Having the camera tripod made the sunrise photos even better. A wealth of information about Monument Valley and the culture, as well as, Harry shared his expertise and camera tricks made this trip special for my daughter and I. Look forward to seeing more stars in the future
