My friends and I loved this tour. Our tour guide, Chrissy, was wonderful and knowledgeable about Philly’s history. Being on public transportation helped us feel so much more immersed in the culture as part of the hood experience. Go on this tour!!!

Wonderful guide takes you out of tourist areas into black neighbor hoods to see local murals. With an academic art background, she is extremely knowledgeable. She also knows a lot about architecture and the history of the areas. You travel on buses and subway like a local and see how their public transport works. Tour feels very safe in a part of Philly that used to be jazz clubs.
