Our guide Steve was great! He was informative, patient, and enthusiastic in showing us all the great spots around Mt Rainier. Would definitely recommend!

A slight detour on the tour, but the tour guide and the rest of the bus took it in stride. Guide was the best, knowledgable, very entertaining and informative about the history. Did not see the top of Rainier, but that is expected this time of year which was mid May.

Steve F was a great guide. Had a fabulous time. Just know if it is cloudy you may not be able to see the peak of MtRainier. Great hike to a beautiful waterfall. The color of the glacier water is gorgeous. It is a long day so know that going in. Would definitely recommend!

The scenery was beautiful! Cory was our guide and he did a great job explaining how the day would work, took us to multiple spots where we could get out and walk around, take photos and some places where you could walk for longer if you wanted too. We went in May and the rain turned into snow as we got closer to Paradise(the visitor's center and trails where you can walk up part of the mountain). It was gorgeous! Do check weather before you go and take warm layers, water proof shoes or boots and some sort of rain jacket or clothing. You can bring a backpack or whatever to carry your layers as their is room on the bus. This was a wonderful experience!

Awesome tour! Lucas was our guide and wow, from hello to see you again he was so engaging, informative, funny and kept our tour full of fun facts and stories! The views were breathtaking, Lucas stopped along the way for restroom breaks, photos, hiking, snacks, foods and provided wonderful recommendations. We had plenty of time at each location. 100% will do the tour again if we’re able get back that way.

Our tour guide was great. My only recommendation would be for more information about the weather (how to b dressed, proper shoes and umbrella). If we had that kind of guidance before hand, we would have enjoyed more. Overall, it was a good experience.

This tour was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately due to weather conditions Mt. Rainier was not viewable. Despite these conditions, nothing was really done to make up for it. We didn’t do much else to possibly fill the time gap where we were supposed to have been viewing the mountain. The tour itinerary is not accurate on the Viator description. We spent more time driving and stopping than actually doing activities. The itinerary states 6 hours at Mt. Rainier but we barely spent half that time in the national park doing anything worthwhile. We spent over an hour at a grocery store on the way there and back. We spent most of the time driving, including all the hotel pickups. There should really only be one or two drop off points, it’s a huge time waste. The waterfall viewpoint was not accessible for all, it was very dangerous and we saw multiple people slipping on the steep trail that was covered in snow and ice. We also didn’t see any lakes as described and the museum was closed. There was really no hike either just a short stroll with our guide who didn’t really even have that much knowledge of the park and couldn’t answer questions like when someone asked if you could forage in the park. Our guide was nice enough and a good driver but claimed to be under the weather and not wearing a mask in a cramped bus. He also spoke about how he has a second job as a chauffeur and drives the uber rich of Seattle who don’t tip him well. He was practically begging us to tip him which is unfortunate that the high price of this tour doesn’t pay him enough of a livable wage that he has to beg for tips. It was very awkward and uncomfortable. I know that the weather is uncontrollable but for example I went to Capri, Italy to see the Blue Grotto. The weather caused the waves to be too high so we couldn’t see the grotto. Instead, the tour booked us on a separate boat trip to make up for that time, which was disappointing but a nice alternative. The Mt. Rainier tour was different and there was no backup plan. I have booked a lot of tours with Viator and this was probably the worst of them.

FANTASTIC! ALL that we wanted it to be, From Booking to being returned to our hotel! Joel our guide was on time, personable, He enjoyed every moment as we all did. He was informative and took us to as many places that time allowed, Including Fred Myers grocery so we could grab snacks and something for ourselves for lunch. Our favorite hole was at Paridise Lodge where we hiked to Myrtle Waterfall in beautiful white snow! We saw many waterfalls, a few animals and tons of lush awesome green foliage. I could go on raving on this day long trip, however I think you get how great it was. Rain or shine it's a wonderful time. Thanks Joel! Rene and Mark from Florida

The day tour to Mt Rainier was good despite the rainy, snowy weather. Our tour guide, Cory, did a great job and was extremely knowledgeable. He made the trip interesting even though the main attraction was unable to be seen due to the unpredictable weather.

There were 7 in our party and 17 total passengers. Everyone enjoyed it. Cory was our guide, and did a great job. That was one of the best tours we did on our vacation!
