This was a highlight of our trip. The tour guide Bruce was thoughtful, careful and extremely knowledgeable. My children mentioned that they “liked his voice when he talked about history” I know they were picking up on his genuine excitement about the history he was sharing. 18th century New York City came alive for me. I not only recommend this, I would do this tour again. Highly recommend.

Our tour guide made this entire experience very interesting and fun for our family as we walked and talked about early American history and New York City's important role in the lives of both Washington and Hamilton.

Bruce was such an incredible tour guide! Very informative, very friendly, and extremely interesting. He did a great job unearthing details about lower Manhattan that have become hidden in plain sight and telling a full story about Hamilton and Washington's development and vision.

Tour guide Bruce Ramont offered a riveting tour that made familiar sites and buildings in the southern tip of Manhattan light up with significance. Ever wonder why it’s called Wall Street? And where was “the room where it happened?” Where did Hamilton meet Hercules Mulligan? He also delivered compelling stories about Washington, Hamilton, and the mixture of pluck and dumb luck that favored the Americans in the first years of their rebellion against the world’s largest military. Bruce brings intensive reading and research, tremendous energy and enthusiasm, and a notebook of historical paintings/ documents to the tour. I deeply respect his attention to the women in the story — Martha, Eliza, and the caravan of washerwomen, cooks, and nurses who accompanied the rebel army throughout the war.

Our tour guide was named Bruce, he was phenomenal!! It was clear and evident that he did not just have a cookie cutter regurgitation of information; he truly LOVED the material he was discussing and was so knowledgeable. He was probably the most engaging tour guide I have had. He was funny, kind and so very enjoyable to be around. 10/10 recommend BRUCE!

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to Bruce for the fantastic tour of historical New York City last weekend. Despite the snowy weather, his passion for the city's history and his engaging style truly made the tour an unforgettable experience for all of us. Exploring the streets of NYC while learning about its rich history with Hamilton and Washington was both educational and entertaining. Bruce’s knowledge and enthusiasm brought the city's past to life, and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the tour. The tour was especially perfect after seeing Hamilton on Broadway.
