She was funny and knowledgeable. Told great stories about the history. We really enjoyed her personality!

The tour guide was amazing, just loved her, Leanne Littlestone. Tour started later than time given which caused us to miss another plan, costing us. Would plan on letting people know that the entire tour is closer to 3 hours or so rather than saying an hour and a half.

It's a little confusing ... but this review is for the ferry to Liberty Island and Ellis Island with tickets purchased from City Experience. The ferry entrance is next to Castle Clinton in the southern tip of Manhattan, inside the Battery Park. It's very straightforward and the ride is short and sweet. If you've a few minutes to spare, do visit the circular Castle Clinton or Castle Fort.

The expirence , the history ..was all great. Great pictures, great view and amazing weather...and safe...very secure . I'm glad we did it.

Had fun learned a lot ferry ride was smooth nice weather. Very long lines to get on ferry boat but it went fast .

We took the guided tour of Liberty and Ellis Island. It was very fast paced and you had to deal with the crowds, but our tour guide Leeann’s was amazing. She got us through the crowds like an expert and we learned soooo much. You can certainly go to the islands on your own, but if you really want to learn about our nations history, pay extra for the guided tour. We did a lot in NYC during our visit, but our trip to the two islands with our tour guide was my favorite!

That is a rip off! Tourists trap. Excursions4u is honestly a scam. First of all the ticket at the booth costs $18 per person, they charged $49. And for what? The tour guide gave us brochures to read while we waited for others. Then on the way to ferry he talked a bit about of history but it was 5 min walk. All he did is walked us through the checkpoint and left us to go through security. I could’ve done it all by myself at $18 cost! Ridiculous!!

Unfortunately we had an awful experience. The tour was not professionally run. We were ushered to the front of a line where people had been waiting, and were clearly upset at the entrance of fifteen people in front of them. The man disappeared when we got there. The police were irate, no one was speaking up about what was going on. The ticket was twice as expensive than buying it there. I would strongly encourage you to skip this one. Not well done at all. Terribly uncomfortable experience.

Plan time to go through “airport-like” security before boarding the ferry. Reservations to walk up the interior of the Statue of Liberty can be filled five months in advance, so plan ahead. Take a quarter if you plan to use the lockers at the statue to store your belongings. The machine to make change was broken today.

Nina was a great tour guide! My 7 y.o. and I enjoyed it and learned a lot about Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
