Extended stop on the Summit of Cadillac Mountain. Guests are welcome to get out of the bus, take pictures, explore, and use the facilities. Cadillac Mountain offers panoramic views of Mount Desert Island and the many surrounding islands.

Thunder Hole

Extended stop along the scenic Ocean Drive within Acadia National Park. Guests are welcome to exit the bus, take pictures, and enjoy the ocean views. Don't get wet! Restroom facilities available.

This tour was narrated by a knowledgeable guide and went through Acadia's most prominent sites with beautiful views. It is a good tour for those who want to visit various sites along the park without a lot of walking or hiking and have limited time.

This was an awesome tour and I was so glad I did this versus a ship excursion which is always a giant bus on which you had to wait for everyone to get on and off. Heather was our guide and she was wonderful - so knowledgeable about everything - she was quite a historian! She worked on the estates of the Rockefeller and Ford families so had a lot of insight and stories to share. She gave us the history of every stop and the park too. We were blessed with a picture perfect sunny day. We stopped at Cadillac Mountain first which was breathtaking, then some garden (not that interesting - it was literally a restroom stop), then Thunderhole which was gorgeous as well. Last stop was Jordan’s Pond which was a place for the elite in the old days to have tea - the view is lovely and there’s a nice gift shop and cafe. We got back to Main Street Bar Harbor with plenty of time before our ship left and were able to explore this picturesque little town at the very end of the season before everything shut down! Don’t miss the tide going out (8-12 feet drop!) to reveal the sand bar - you literally get the chance to walk along the ocean floor to the other island!

Such a wonderful tour. The tour operator was a fountain of interesting information. We viewed so much beautiful scenery on the narrated drive through Acadia. The stops were well-planned and enabled us to see the best of the park. The guide was very helpful offering tips for post-tour experiences, too.

Informative during tour, not helpful during stops. Was "on" during the drive and was not at all during stops. S Driver seemed annoyed and disinterested anytime we engaged in conversation during the stops. Felt like he was performing the tour

My husband and I really enjoyed the tour. It was very informative. Definitely worth the money. The only drawback was that it was raining, so we did not get a good view of bar Harbor from Cadillac Mountain.

Lovely tour with an entertaining and knowledgeable guide. Best way to see the park without one of us having to drive. The guide provided information we wouldn’t have had access to and the van was extremely comfortable.
