Don't waste your money or your evening on the After Hours tour - show yourself around in the daytime instead, maybe get a self-guided audio tour if you want more context. But if you're interested in history or culture, I DON'T RECOMMEND. Why? Well, about a third of the way through the tour, we stopped at a grave and Shannon spent 15-20 minutes sharing some of the most batshit conspiracy theories I've ever heard. Some highlights include: - Humanity was born from the dust of Atlantis. - The three obelisks around this particular grave resonate with the harmonic pathways because they form a pyramid like the Pyramids of Giza (we actually passed a fourth obelisk further out, but apparently this one doesn't count for some reason) - The slightly raised portion of Savannah upon which the Cemetery stands was not made by volcanic sand being deposited by rivers over 11 million years, as actual scientists with degrees state. It was actually hand terraced by "the ancients" for celestial interdimensional purposes. - Academius (sic) has kept these truths hidden from us!! There was a lot more rubbish being spouted but that's what I remember. The worst part is that I spent the next two thirds of the tour suspicious of everything that came out of Shannon's mouth - if you're going to share your crackpot theories, at least wait till the end so your audience can trust the rest of your stories. I barely believed a single word he said for the rest of the tour - not what you want from a tour advertised as "perfect for history lovers." The cemetery is beautiful at sunset but it's not worth listening to Shannon's drivel.

This was my third Savannah journey with Shannon Scott Tours. This Bonaventure cemetery tour was part of his 5 Nights of Halloween Event. Bonaventure is beautiful by day, but walking through it at night by the glow of lantern light with Shannon's engaging stories is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. A must do! He is a compelling storyteller. Fascinating, funny and always interesting. I was in awe. I may have to make this an annual Halloween event. If you love history, I highly recommend taking one of his private tours. We had a blast! He will have more time to share his amazing knowledge and passion for this hauntingly beautiful city. He will make you fall in love with Savannah just as I did. Do yourself a favor on your next visit to Savannah and take one of his tours.

We were in town for a conference and someone in our group suggested we do this. It was Halloween Eve, so of course I said "yes". What better way to learn about this city I had not previously visited and the people who lived in it. I was not disappointed. Shannon took us through several in-depth stories in our 3-hour walk through the cemetery, stopping at specific graves to tell the tale, as a masterful storyteller would, holding us in suspense. sharing the needed details, providing supporting photos as needed, and then delivering the outcome, many times having me gasping at the ultimate outcome. I love history and, truly, there was no better way to learn of it than this. On a subsequent [different] tour the next day I saw many of the places Shannon had talked about, making a nice connection. The weather was beautiful and the scenery divine, and I was fascinated about the design of the cemetery. Throughout the entire tour, Shannon was the perfect mix of showman--funny, engaging, receptive to his audience, and he made us think and we certainly learned so much...and, boy, does he sure know how to tell his stories. Highly recommended!

Shannon was very knowledgeable. He knew a lot history. He told us the history before the person died and the stores of what happened with their families after. I’d do another tour if Shannon went to other graves sites.

More tour dates were listed on Facebook and it seemed this tour found us. We recently moved to savannah and had family visiting so the after hours tour was a great choice. The cemetery offers some amazing sights and views and Shannon’s historical stories were the perfect accompaniment. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

It was a beautiful night and although we had done a guided tour a couple years prior during the day this was totally different. The stories were different and we enjoyed it.

Went with the husband and adult child. We all loved it. This was our second tour of bonaventure….first with Shannon. When we go again…will definitely be booking with Shannon. Fantastic information and stories. Kept everyone riveted. We didn’t care that it was pouring with a lightning storm. Beyond impressive. All three of us loved it. Thank you!!!!

This tour was the first stop on our visit to Savannah. I'm so glad our trip began with Shannon. He's interesting, informative and fun. He also throws in little conspiracy theory which is fascinating. We were taken on a wonderful journey through Bonaventure Cemetery. We were so impressed with his storytelling that we booked a private tour. I will definitely take more of his tours on my next trip to Savannah.

Shannon was excellent. The stories were historical and spooky, and were very entertaining and interesting. My whole group loved it. It is a beautiful place and after hours made it great as the sun was setting. I will do it again!
