I will never book a tour with ghost city tours ever again. My husband and I booked this walking tour for bonaventure on the last day of our trip. We were 5 minutes early and our guide was no where to be found. Another tour was there, Don with Bonaventure Don... his tour started at 11am as well and he was waiting for people and calling those who hadn't arrived yet. We asked him where we'd find our tour guide and he gestured to the front gate where there was no one... we walked around for a bit and couldn't find anyone... we called and they told us our tour guide, Nick, had left because we weren't there 15 minutes early like it had stated. Well unfortunately we had gotten lost and then when we did finally arrive could not find parking... we were probably there at 10:50 but couldn't find anywhere to park. We asked for a refund but were told it was against policy. What's frustrating is that we were willing to just catch up and find our guide but since we were apparently the only 2 who had booked, he just left... there was never an attempt to call us or text or find out where we were... if we were the only 2 on the tour, I feel they should have waited for us or made an attempt to reach out. Just because a tour says to arrive early doesn't mean you should leave before the tour even STARTS! They offered a voucher, but what good would that do us on our last day... With no refund or any apology or attempt to make it right or even transferring to talk to someone else, we were out our money... we filed a claim with our bank to cancel the charge but will never book with ghost city tours again. We had more help from the 2 ladies on the porch from the historical society who gave us a free map and told us all about the Graves we should visit. There's even an app where you can listen and walk yourself! Save your money and either do a self guided tour or spend a little more and book with Bonaventure Don who clearly goes above and beyond to make sure he waits for everyone on his tour. Josh who we spoke to on the phone was no help and super inconsiderate. The whole experience was a terrible way to end our trip.

We really enjoyed this beautiful cemetery. Our guide ( sorry I forgot his name) was very knowledgeable and funny. He took the time to explain the history and stories of those buried there.

This tour offered so much great Savannah history and explanations of the art and architecture of the statues and gravestones. It is particularly great for fans of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. The cemetery itself is beautiful. This is a must-do in Savannah.

Tour guide was very informative. Directions to start tour were poor— no specific information regarding parking, meeting up with tour guide etc. Our tour started late because we parked in the wrong lot and had a 10 minute walk to meeting spot per reservation instructions. The tour group waited at designated spot for 10 minutes. When no tour guide showed up, we called and were informed he may have left because we weren’t on time (even though we were). Finally found tour guide- he wasn’t in designated area. Definitely recommend more precise instructions for parking and connecting with tour guide.

Extremely upset and disappointed. I will take my fair share of the responsibility as we were going to be about 5 min or less late. So slightly poor planning on my part; however we did call to alert them about a possible late arrival. As it turns out we pulled into the gates at 11:01. I let my husband out so he could meet the group and we could park. He got out and walked all around the building and I stress this point he was in the location stated on the email. He asked several people if they were Nick. They kept telling him no. I called after about 10 min asking where to find her they said they didn’t know and a send a text. Nick did not respond. The whole reason I came to Savannah was that tour and the guide couldn’t even be bothered to waitafter being politely informed of a potential 5 min delay. No I’m not exaggerating we checked the clock when we came in the gate and called it was 5 minutes. So after waiting less than 10 min this tour guide was no where to be found and I was told she was unreachable. What guide leaves when informed and less than 5 min late! Worse yet they refused to refund me so now I’m out a tour and missed out on the one thing I had set up plus a rain check for a tour I may never use even if it is in a different city. Very disappointing and sad that the guide just left and worse yet company refused to call her cell.

I truly enjoyed learning about the cemetery and some of the stories of those buried in there. The walk was beautiful on a beautiful day and Nick was very knowledgeable. He nicely balanced the information shared, between fun and interesting. Truly recommend this tour!

Jim gave an interesting overview of cemetery tradition and Savannah history. The setting is beautiful and only a 15 minute car trip from the historic district.

The tour guide seemed out of it and his slow talking was annoying while he missed certain things to highlight
