SEA LIFE Grapevine

Dive into a world of more than 5,000 sea creatures at SEA LIFE Aquarium Dallas, where you can spy seahorses, clown fish, sharks and sea turtles, among other underwater critters in 30 display tanks. You get to decide how to spend your time in this watery wonderland. Want to check out the stingrays? Stand on a platform overlooking the Bay of Rays to get a great view of the rays gliding below you. Afterward enter an underwater tunnel that goes through a tank to marvel at the sharks and fish as they swim around you! You can also see a variety of colorful jellyfish pulse and watch the sea turtles cruise about. For a close encounter, visit the interactive rock pool display where you can see a sea star, sea urchin, shark pup or horseshoe crab. Young children will love watching the fascinating sea creatures and educational displays right at eye level. For more learning opportunities, join the friendly and knowledgeable staff at SEA LIFE Aquarium Dallas at educational talks and feeding demonstrations throughout the day. So glad we had tickets! Line moved quickly and we got right in- unlike people that did not have tickets. ☹️. Second time I’ve taken grandkids here- it’s about a 1.5 - 2 hour visit. Well worth it. Crystalline clear tanks - so much to see, plus little stations they “ stamped” their logs to get a free bracelet after. The touch pool was particularly fun. Tanks are set up so that no matter your height you could see into the tanks, and people as a rule were very courteous about pictures. And the gift shop was not outrageously priced. Big stuffies ran for about $10. Well worth your time. Also consider the package deal with Lego land (across the aisle) / but for another day. We’ve done both. Very very well done. And the food court down the way offers everything. If you go to the gorilla restaurant be sure to make reservations the day before. Super fun mall! Not to forget Peppa Pig World! I have driven the 40 minutes quite a few times and felt it was worth it every time.

Overall this was a beautiful aquarium, however, it was over too quick. They get you going and there's like some of the same fish in every tank. You go to the 2nd floor and get excited thinking there's more and after a corner maybe 2 it's like that's it. My children were disappointed. Not worth the price and they have an area to touch these little fish way to expensive for the experience. It was okay but we won't be back.

I had some time to spare so I decided to go to the aquarium. It is small but a nice quiet aquarium. My favorite was watching the stingray and sharks swim in the largest tank.

As aquariums go, it was pretty routine and basic. You had your photo taken on entry which you collect at end of the tour. The giant turtle, Eddie, was magnificent, as were the mass of jellyfish flowing under different coloured lights. Staff were pleasant, especially Joe in a wheelchair. Gift shop pretty basic, and you got the chance to collect your photo you'd posed for at start of the tour...... but $35 for poor quality photos was excessive considering they weren't at all good. Overall, honest endeavours by the staff, but I felt underwhelmed considering what I had paid to get in. Having it housed in a shopping mall said quite a lot.

The aquarium was awesome.. displays and interaction for children was really good:) they need someone who has more knowledge of a sea turtle and how they CAN tell the difference in the male and female in many different ways

My daughter got to touch the sea stars and enjoyed the views just for kids from the bubbles on the underside of the tanks. Just like the other attractions in the area, you are herded through the crowded exhibits. It was the cleanest place we visited though.

We loved it. It was great for the kids and adults! Staff was friendly and helpful. We went at our own pace and there was a lot to see and explore. Whole family loved it!!

I spent $100 for a mermaid makeover with pictures included and a week and a half later I have no pictures and Sea Life is ignoring all my communications. This was my daughter’s birthday present and now we have nothing to show for it. They have nothing but kids working and no leadership whatsoever. Don’t waste your money on a mermaid makeover it’s overpriced. The exhibit compared to the price was outrageous.

Horrible waste of money hardly anything was there it was literally a five minute walk through and pretty much the same kind of fish it wasn't an actual aquarium type thing at all very disappointed this was the first time that my fiance has ever been to an aquarium and it pretty much ruined his taste for it very disappointed and a waste of money

My favorite part was touching the fish and looking at all the fish and the big sharks and the snake and eel
