Very interesting even if you're not a gin drinker, we also got the hear the history of Gin and how the local set up works. Ended with a tasting, so very good all round.

I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Stratford Upon Avon. They tell you all about the process of distilling gin, and then take you to the sampling room to try several kinds of gin which they make. Finally, you get to choose a cocktail before you leave . A very friendly group of people ! Make it a point to visit.

What a fantastic team of dedicated gin masters, who not only produce the gin but share their enthusiasm in producing an artisan product. Humour abounds, and the drink portions are not small. Whether you enjoy gin, vodka or rum learning how it is made is only half the story. Well recommended.

We really enjoyed this 90 minute tour at Shakespeare Distillery. It was interesting and informative and was great to see how passionate this company is with the making of their gins and rum. Katheryn gave us a great insight into gin history and Simon and Jack lead us through the whole process from distilling to bottling. Added bonus was the tasting, again with many hints and tips provided as to mixing and serving. Would highly recommend this tour.

Such an informative tour, we loved learning about how the gin and rum is made and of course trying some of them too. Left with lots of expert advice on best enjoying the gins and rum- and a few bottles we bought in the gift shop.

Loved this tour you get an introduction to gin and it’s origins and then an introduction to the distillery itself and how the Gin is made. The best bit of course is the Gin tasting, what an eye opener and the Gin off course was delicious, the staff were very knowledgeable and would definitely book again. Next is a trip to their shop in the centre of Stratford to buy a bottle or two.

An excellent tour. Headed up by knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff, both when signing in and having the initial gin talk, to the gentleman who ran us through the distilling and bottling process of both their gin and rum. Was interesting to understand the differences between mass produced supermarket regulars and local, smaller production based gins and rums that are of top quality, taste far better and don't give one as much of a hangover, owing to the production process ( mass produced mixes in the heads and tails) whilst Shakespeare do not. Lovely tasting of the gins and rums afterwards. The rum of which is one of a few real UK made rums
