My mother and I toured with David for two tours: the Stonehenge/Bath tour, as well as the Hampton Court/Windsor Castle tour. We enjoyed both of our tours very much. David was great - very pleasant and easy-going - and gave great general information as we drove. Both tours were paced well and we felt like we had enough time to do what we really wanted to do (though in all these places, you could easily spend a full day!). Overall, we had a great time with David and highly recommend his company for touring in England!

Our driver and guide, David, was superb. He answered all of our questions about Royals and differences between UK and GB, all while telling us so much history and interesting tid bits of the areas around Stonehenge and Bath. His pub recommendation was spot on! David really made our last day on London spectacular!

The title sums it up … Fantastic and Fabulous!!! FanTabulous is how I would describe our private tour with the great David Stubbs of London Country Tours. Mr. Stubbs is professional, knowledgeable, and prompt. He made sure to assist and direct us to the proper websites to obtain tickets and reserve times for our tours of Stonehenge and the Roman Baths in the beautiful city of Bath. He is well versed with the history, the unbeaten paths, and overall best experience for a private tour. The pub selection in Bath was an excellent choice. And the trip was wrapped up with a visit to Castle Combe in the Cotswold area - just lovely. Wish we had more time to book a few more tours with Mr. Stubbs. I would not take another trip without booking my tours with him and London Country Tours. I highly recommend him to all who are planning a trip to England.

I booked a second tour via David to explore Bath. I requested to do Bath only as there were specific sights I wanted to see and experiences to have. Steve, my driver for the day, was good value. It was like going for a drive with a mate - but a mate who knew where they were going and were there to ensure you had the day out that you wanted. Pointing out little tid-bits along the way (like where Nic Cage has an apartment) and finding a specific business I wanted to visit made the day a solid 10.

We had a wonderful day trip from London. David was our guide, he was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the area as we drove along making for a entertaining and informative ride. David provided us with suggestions on how to best get in to the sites, including ticket purchases and order in which to see things to avoid tour bus crowds. The vehicle is comfortable and wifi is available. He gave us historical information about both of the sites we visited and gave a great dining recommendation. Chatting with David along the drive was a pleasure and made the time pass very quickly on what could have been a long ride. Thank you David for a terrific day out, I would definitely use David again for a tour when I’m back in town, and certainly recommend him to anyone looking for a guide!

We so enjoyed our family of 4’s (two parents and two teens) tour with Graham Winter as our guide. Graham picked us up promptly from our air b&b. The car was well-stocked, clean, and comfortable. Graham was a friendly, thoughtful driver who offered us lots of information as well as informal chat. He accompanied us to Woodhenge, and Stonehenge, made reservations for us in an excellent pub in Bath for lunch (The Huntsman) and directed us toward the sites we wanted to see in Bath. He also pointed out picturesque views for us to note. This company was so easy to work with and communicated well via email. I’m so glad we booked this tour over one of those big bus tours that i was also considering. It was a lovely day! (We wish we could just have Graham drive us around London and tell us where to take pictures and where to eat for the rest of our stay in London!).
