Please arrive between 5:35 - 5:45pm to receive the whole VIP experience, such as early boarding and front row reserved seating for the Dukes of Dixieland! Pose for a photo as you board -- you'll receive a print as a souvenir of this exclusive experience that can only be booked through Viator. Uniformed ship staff will greet you with a Champagne cocktail. Then, follow your guide on an exclusive private tour of the boat. Feel free to ask questions and take photos as you tour the magnificent riverboat.

Afterward, take your reserved seat and listen to the live jazz band, Dukes of Dixeland. As you listen to the Grammy-nominated group play, enjoy a shrimp cocktail. Everything was great. Our hostess Bridgette was the best! I would recommend this to anyone. Front row seats for the Jazz band was excellent!

The initial meet and greet from our friendly host Gina, who took us up to the sun deck for champagne, cocktails and live jazz, was great. Unfortunately, due to overbookings we did not get to watch the jazz band over dinner in the VIP area but instead right at the back of the boat by the paddle. Our host was great throughout the evening and very apologetic for the less than satisfactory experience. Whilst she did her best to compensate with extra drinks etc, regrettably, our initial VIP experience turned into a 'just another punter' disappointment for the second half

Awesome trip , we did the vip trip with bar option and couldn’t have been looked after better ! , great tour of the engine room and boat with the captain, Gina looked after us and has really made are trip to Nola !! ,good food lovey sunset and band Perfect thanks to crew and staff 😎

We had a fabulous evening on the Jazz Dinner cruise. We’d booked VIP and Marlon looked after us splendidly. It was a really great evening - the food was way nicer than we expected and the live music - and margaritas -exceptional. Our tour of the boat by the Captain was sooooo interesting. Well worth it.

This was one of the highlights of our trip! We got the VIP tickets and it’s the only way to do this! You won’t get a better experience any other way. We got a private tour of the boat, open bar, and a cute little gift bag at the end that had our pictures and champagne glasses from the night! I can’t even begin to describe how amazing Gina was! She brings customer service to a whole new level. That night wouldn’t have been as great if she wasn’t there to take care of us. The jazz was also amazing! I wanted to book this again just to hear it. Please do this!!

Our host, Marlon, was outstanding and saw to all of our needs. He was efficient and very personable. The band was very good and played songs that made everyone feel great. Our tour of the ship by the Captain was another highlight. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, he was able to communicate his love of the vessel, as well as many memorable details, to us. It was an outstanding tour. I feel that the quality of the people we interacted with made the entire experience unforgettable. They should be recognized and appreciated for their contribution to the experience.

We were truly treated like VIPs. From walking up to the boat until we delayed. Our hostess, Gina mafe it her mission to ensure we had everything we could want in food and drink, meeting our unique requests without batting an eye. A sweeter, more interesting or accommodating person could not be found. The tour of the boat was fascinating and the watchman was fascinating. A great time was had by all.

We purchased the VIP package and it was fantastic from the time we got on the ship to the very end. The hostess was fantastic - friendly and fun!!! The food and dining hall were very nice. We were lucky to get a tour of the mechanics of the ship which we all enjoyed immensely. And the drinks and upbeat music helped to add to the jovial atmosphere.
