We have been on several wine tasting experiences and this was the best by far. Dacil our host and guide for the day, was amazing. Very informative, great energy and personality. We did not feel at all rushed and the tapas and wine were incredible. We looked around the vineyards, met the sheep, learnt about the history of the wines and the vineyards and drank some beautiful wines. Highly, highly recommend this trip.

Wonderful tour, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable , friendly and engaging. We never felt rushed, and the wine and food was plentiful. The family vineyard and farm are situated in a beautiful location. We learnt all about their winery, but most importantly the wine was fantastic! Great value for the money!

We had a really generous and relaxing experience at Arafo. The little vineyard is high up in the hills with great views. Our guide was friendly and informative. They have a maximum of eight people so it is very personal. The wine, which is organic, was delicious and we had nibbles to accompany. Altogether it was a very pleasant 3 hours - highly recommended if you like wine.

We were fortunate enough to have a small wine tasting directly with the proprietor. He was delightful, and made our trip to the winery very special. The wine was great, and he answered all of our questions about the grapes and the process. Highly recommend!

Not the easy place to find and parking was not easy, but well worth it for all that, you are taken from the Bodega by a small minibus up a mountain to their vineyard. The views of which are amazing. We were greeted with wine and tapas and then walked along a short path to see the goats they keep for grass cutting duty. Then we saw some of the worms they use and came back for another wine sample and some tapas. We then ended up back near the coach for the final wine and food. Our guide was lovely and very informative, the amount of wine and food supplied was generous, but the best part was meeting other travellers on this trip from all over Europe. A most enjoyable trip and highly recommended.

We went for a vineyard tour and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The owner has explained to us the geological background, the history of the winery, and the winemaking process. He was super friendly with evident passion for this family business and answered all our questions - we learnt so much about the island and winemaking in the Canaries. We tried 4 different wines (generous portions!) and we loved them all. You get excellent tapas with the tasting as well. The vineyard is such a beautiful and tranquil place, perfect for switching off and enjoying your holiday on this beautiful island. Very highly recommended

We absolutely LOVED our experience! We did wine tours in Italy & Portugal and this was by far the best tour we ever did. We loved to learn about organic wine making and to walk through the vineyards (absolutely gorgeous landscapes, unfortunately my photos would not upload). And the tasting was more than generous! The wines were delicious and so easy to drink and the food was just as great. We bought 8 bottles at the end! Finally, everyone in our group (6 people) were from Tenerife but us, so it felt like a very authentic experience. I am a nature wine lover and I could not recommend this tour enough!

My husband and I LOVED this experience. We met at the main shop in town. If you drive by car and have trouble finding a spot, just ask them. They have a little place where you can park for free. We had a wonderful guide who drove us to the vineyard (about 10 minutes away) and helped us get to know the background of the vineyard and how they make their various wines. It was a GORGEOUS place and the wine and tapas were excellent.

Wir waren zu Viert mit unserer erwachsenen Tochter und unserem 14jährigen Sohn (er hat als Getränk Mineralwasser und einen reduzierten Tour-Preis bekommen) in einer Gruppe von insgesamt 7 Personen bei der englisch gesprochenen Führung. Die Guide hat alles rund um die Geschichte des Weinguts, die Weinsorten und die Herstellung sehr gut verständlich erläutert und sämtliche aufkommenden Fragen beantwortet. Die Weine waren sehr unterschiedlich im Geschmack - für jeden war etwas dabei beim Weiß-, Rosé- und Rotwein. Uns hat es vorallem der letztjährige fruchtig-liebliche Rosé angetan. Die Tapas waren eine schöne Auswahl landestypischer Leckereien: Hartwürste von Wildschwein und Hirsch, gewürzte, junge und gereifte Käsesorten, Oliven, gewürzte Mandeln und verschiedene Brotsorten dekoriert mit kandierten Früchten. Der Abschluss aus unterschiedlich gefüllten Kroketten zum Rotwein war die Krönung der wirklich gelungenen Tour. Sehr gut war es auch, dass wir vom Treffpunkt im Verkaufsladen der Bodega in Arafo mit einem Kleintransporter zum Weinberg selbst und zurück gefahren wurden, denn die Straße war - wie so häufig in den Bergdörfern auf Teneriffa - beängstigend steil und schmal. Nach 4 und mehr Gläsern Wein hätten wir dort nicht selbst wieder hinunter fahren wollen...
