The boat ride started out great. Unfortunately, it started raining about 45 minutes into the tour. No one can be blamed for that. Both the Captain and Pete (?) were great. Both men were very accommodating and very nice. We did get to see some wildlife, some manatees and dolphins but because of the rain and the murkiness of the water , it was hard to see the wildlife. The Captain was very informative, telling us some of the history of the area, which I found fascinating. I found all of the passengers to be very friendly. Over all, I enjoyed the trip except for the rain.

We arrived to find out they weren’t running that evening. We paid for tickets called the people that run it. And they were not at all polite making it seem like it was my fault (was reimbursed through the booking company). Awful and disappointing

Since many years we spend our vacation in New Smyrna Beach but for the first time we did this kind of adventure - a boat tour on the Indian river. Spontanous arrival with no prebooked tickets we have been greeted very friendly and booked our tickets via phone - not easy with spelling German names. During the two hours tour we learned a lot about mangroves, manatees and the natures reserves in Florida. (Not only facts but little inside stories from a local which let us laugh a lot.) Luckily there were animals showing up - manatees as well as dolphins and cormorans. The group of 24 filled the boat but all people had a comfortable seat. You could bring your own food and drinks but water has been offered as well. It will definitely not be the last trip!

This was my third year in a row...hands down one of my favorite things to do while in town. The guys are great and knowledgeable and fun! They do everything they can for you to see the wildlife you want to see. Such a peaceful and relaxing ride and the sunsets are always gorgeous.

We had a wonderful trip. Great weather and very knowledgeable and entertaining crew. The educational experience was great and made even better with numerous manatee sightings as well as dolphins and an alligator. We should have done this years ago.

An amazing experience! Highly educational, learned a lot and got to see several animals in their natural habitat. The crew was friendly, accommodating and witty. Highly recommend!

Captain Lee, Paul and Kathy were friendly, professional and so accommodating. Our family of 20 reserved the boat for a Celebration of Life for a loved one. There was more than enough space for our large group. They had a microphone and speakers which we used. Paul readily pointed out the manatees and dolphins that came right up to the boat. The whole experience even better than me imagined. We highly recommend Turtle Mound River Tours.

Very pleasant trip. Captain Lee was very knowledgeable about the area and also humorous. Kick back and enjoy the relaxing sunset cruise. Would definitely do again.
