Our guide, Wendy, was great! She had extensive knowledge about St. Augustine, and she was able to communicate her knowledge in a clear and interesting way. The boat tour part was not that impressive, but the golf cart part of the tour was spot on. I would recommend this to anyone just landing in St. Augustine for an informative introduction to the city.

Unfortunately due to traffic on Saturday we were unable to make the meet time so did not get to have this experience. We were coming from Cresent beach and left at 2:50 but due to backed up traffic didn’t arrive until 3:55 and was unable to find parking.

Unfortunately, we experienced misinformation and a lack of communication about the logistics of the tour. Once we bought the tickets an email was sent that said we are meeting at one place and ending at a totally different place. When I contacted the tour operator I was told that the tour starts and ends at the same place. I then had to contact the operator again and ask where we were supposed to meet since I had two separate addresses. The address given ends up being in a gazebo in the middle of a plaza. At 6:00 when the tour was supposed to start, there was still no one there to meet us. We then walked up to a random golf cart that was parked on the opposite end of the plaza. We asked the driver if she was out tour. She looked confused and said, "Oh, so there is a tour." She then proceeded to check her phone to find out if anyone else was supposed to come since she didn't even know about us. This is how our tour started. After she checked her phone for a few more minutes, she confirmed that no one else was on the tour and then started to drive. We literally drove less than a quarter of a mile to the boat dock. She left us to go get the tickets, walked us out to the pier and said, "See that line over there by the Liberty three boat? That is the boat that will take you on the boat part of this tour." I looked at her questioningly and when no other information came out of her I had to ask her what her name is and what is going to happen after we get back. This tour guide didn't even introduce herself to us. She didn't tell us how this tour works. Her plan was to literally drop us off at the boat and walk away. Once I started asking questions, then she gave us a little bit more information about how after the tour she will then take us in the golf cart and tell us the history of the area. So then I relaxed a little knowing that there was a plan that somewhat resembled the description of the tour. After standing around for about 10 minutes at the dock I finally asked a person in line when the boat was supposed to leave. The boat was not going to leave for another 35 minutes! So basically we met the lady at 6:02. She dropped us off at the dock by 6:08. She then left without telling us that the boat would not even leave until 6:45. Why did we need to meet at 6:00 if the boat did not even leave till 6:45? And to be honest we could have just met at the pier instead of having her drive us less than a quarter mile. This was such a waste of time and we only had a few hours in St Augustine. The boat tour was great. There was a lot of information and it covered the entire Bay. It was about one and a half hours long. We then get off the boat and we meet our guide again. She has a lot of information about the area and she is totally pleasant. The problem is by now, our two hour tour is already into 3 and 1/2 hours because we spent 40 minutes of it standing on a dock. It's dark and hard to see the details on the buildings that she talks about. The city is pretty at night but it would have been better for us if it was just after sundown so you can still see all the lights but still see the details of the buildings. She dropped us at our car which happened to be about 50 ft from the starting point. The tour itself is great but the lack of communication and unexpected extended amount of time it took, really messed us up since we were starving and not expecting to still be with her 3 and 1/2 hours later. This would have been a complete disaster if I had young children with me. The idea of a small group for a tour appealed to us but I feel like because it was only two of us, we weren't treated as well as a full golf cart of people would have been.

Nice trip with great tour guide. I liked having the golf cart over the trolley as less people. Highly recommend.
