It was great!! The people were very friendly, except for the girl making the Pralines was a little grumpy. Food was fabulous!! Spices and such seemed a little pricey.

Every time I'm in NO, I make time to do this event. Each time, I learn something new. Someday I may even accomplish making one of the dishes. This is a great thing to do when you're visiting NO, whether it be the demonstration class or the hands-on class. I highly recommend it!

Dianne was great, the food was delicious and I really loved and appreciated the food history information! Highly recommend it- and try to do it before you explore the cities cuisine- it may change how you enjoy it! Makes you a mini local expert for gumbo jambalaya and pralines.

What a great demonstration, Cindy really knew her cooking and history. Hubby (not a cook, likes to eat) loved it too. Come hungry, it’s not just a tasting. Have already recommended to friends.

Fabulous food and storytelling! Chef Cindy was amazing and shared lots of local and regional history while cooking New Orleans specialties. Do not eat before you go! The tasting portions are generous and you’ll want to enjoy every bite!

We sat comfortably at tables close to the instructor. There was a mirror above the cooking area so you could see every action of food preparation. The dishes were delicious and plentiful. The crab bisque was the best ever. And all the while he was cooking he entertained us with stories of New Orleans history, food and culture that were both informative and entertaining.

This cooking demonstration was wonderful! Loved the class style and there was a lot of love put into the delicious food. There is so much variety in the menu schedule, we will make it a must do stop on every return trip. 10/10 would recommend if you want to have a seat, ac, delicious food, history, and an all-around lovely time.

Pat was extremely engaging and knowledgeable not only about the cooking of creole/cajun foods but the history of them as well.

I've taken this class 4 times over the years. Everytime I come to NOLA I take one. I love the chefs. The history, folklore, and personal stories are interesting and funny. I seem to learn something everytime I go. Each class provides me with a different chef and each Chef's stories are somewhat different and told with a different flair. Not to mention the food is delicious and the receipes are excellent. I've tried each of the recipes once I returned home and they came out exactly like what I ate in the class. The accents are fabulous and they add a "Jene sais quois!"
